This study focused on the responses of Grade V pupils in Mapandan Catholic School, Poblacion, Mapandan, Pangasinan, and School Year 2012-2013, or how effective a computer-generated using visual aids. The study included the contents and the way of discovering and motivating the learning skills of the Grade V pupils.

Effectiveness of computer aided instruction in teaching Mathematics 1 for First Year High School students of Metro Dagupan Colleges Special Science High School

CAI in mathematics for high school is especially designed as a teaching tools for the high school students as well as a teaching aid for teachers. This study is focused only on the four fundamentals operations regarding fractions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The 1st year high school students of MDC special Science High School are the respondents wherein 12 students have been observed from 7:40 am - 9:20 am (MWF). The researchers choose 1st year students be their respondents because they're fresh graduate from elementary and still acquire attitudes and behavior of being childish so CAI method is very suited for them to used. Because of the animation they are easily motivated.
