The Effects of Text Messaging to the Filipino Language Spelling Proficiency of Grade VI Pupils of Salaan Elementary School Mangaldan, Pangasinan

This study involved the students of Grade VI pupils at Salaan Elementary School who were cellphone users of six (6) months to two (2) years only. It did not included pupils who have been using cellphone for a short period of time. This study focused on text messaging as a factor in the spelling proficiency of the pupils in the Filipino Language only. The study did not include other skills, like grammar and reading comprehension, since spelling was the primary focus.

This study focused on the study of the preparation and use of ICT as an instructional material in English to the Grade VI pupils in Golden Angels Educational Institution. This study focused on how students study with and without the use of ICT in English subject in the Grade Six class and compare it with lecture method. The primary source of the case was on interview conducted with the Grade VI pupils of Golden Angels Educational Institution.
