Scope and content

This study involved the students of Grade VI pupils at Salaan Elementary School who were cellphone users of six (6) months to two (2) years only. It did not included pupils who have been using cellphone for a short period of time. This study focused on text messaging as a factor in the spelling proficiency of the pupils in the Filipino Language only. The study did not include other skills, like grammar and reading comprehension, since spelling was the primary focus.
