This study was confined to the Assessment of the Implementation of the Experimental methods in teaching Science. The researchers focused only with the experimental methods used by the teachers in Grade V section I at Mangaldan I Central Elementary School 2000-2001, except for the Grade I, II, III, IV and VI, because in Grade IV down to I, they only focused on Lecture demonstration and in Grade VI, they focused on different activities such as, field observation and film showing/viewing.

Effectiveness of computer aided instruction in teaching Mathematics 1 for First Year High School students of Metro Dagupan Colleges Special Science High School

CAI in mathematics for high school is especially designed as a teaching tools for the high school students as well as a teaching aid for teachers. This study is focused only on the four fundamentals operations regarding fractions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The 1st year high school students of MDC special Science High School are the respondents wherein 12 students have been observed from 7:40 am - 9:20 am (MWF). The researchers choose 1st year students be their respondents because they're fresh graduate from elementary and still acquire attitudes and behavior of being childish so CAI method is very suited for them to used. Because of the animation they are easily motivated.
