The scope of this research was focused on the thirty-seven (37) first year high school students of Metro-Dagupan Colleges, Mangaldan, Pangasinan, S.Y. 2012-2013. This study only covered the difficulties of the students' skills in problem solving.

This study focused on problem solving performance in mathematics of 1st year high school student and Metro-Dagupan Colleges, Mangaldan, Pangasinan. The researcher chose to study the solving problem performance of 1st year high school because the researcher noticed that very few among the student understand word problems. On researcher experience, he has seen a lot of students answering problems without further reading and analyzing of what they have red. It is too disappointing because in order for them to understand the problem, teacher needs to make several samples and explanations or even in Tagalog explanation.
CAI in mathematics for high school is especially designed as a teaching tools for the high school students as well as a teaching aid for teachers. This study is focused only on the four fundamentals operations regarding fractions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The 1st year high school students of MDC special Science High School are the respondents wherein 12 students have been observed from 7:40 am - 9:20 am (MWF). The researchers choose 1st year students be their respondents because they're fresh graduate from elementary and still acquire attitudes and behavior of being childish so CAI method is very suited for them to used. Because of the animation they are easily motivated.

This research was conducted during the school year 2015-2016. It focused on the four fundamental mathematical operations namely multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.
The main focus of the study was to determine the mastery of the second year college students in the topic rounding off numbers. Other grade levels are not included. Also, the first, third and fourth year college students are not included in the study.
This study covered the word problem-solving ability of Grade VI section I pupils at Mangaldan I Central School, School year 2002-2003. The scope of the study was delimited mainly on the mathematics word problem-solving ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in order to know the strength and weaknesses of the pupils. The study was limited only to the Grade VI section I pupils of Mangaldan I Central School and did not included the other sections.
