Assessment of the security measures observed in the subdivisions of Mangaldan, Pangasinan

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
This study is limited only to security measures observed and implemented in the three subdivisions in Mangaldan, Pangasinan. It includes the security guards and the residents in the different subdivisions.
However, the security agencies and their administrators are not included in this study since they might have different answers. Contradicting answers from both groups answering the same questions may only invalidate the reliability of the responses.

Encountered problems in the conduct of checkpoint at Mangaldan, Pangasinan

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
There were limitations in this study since only checkpoints in designated places in Mangaldan was focus of it. Policement in Mangaldan Police Station who are conducting various checkpoints were included in this study. Reactioins of the respondents, the perceived problems of both the police and the public were included in this study. An ordinance or law regarding conduct of checkpoint, if available, was included, techniques of conducting checkpoint was included.
However, this study was only confined in the Municipality of Mangaldan. Neighboring towns or municipalities or cities were not included since it is no longer within the area of responsibility of the Philippine National Police (PNP) of Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

The Disaster preparedness of the Municipality of San Jacinto, Pangasinan

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
The study is about the disaster preparedness of the Municipality of San Jacinto on natural disasters like earthquake, flood, typhoon or storm and tsunami. The Municipality is far from the coastal area of San Fabian but there is still the tendency that rivers overflow which may cause flooding to other barangays of San Jacinto.
This study surveyed 152 residents of San Jacinto. The respondents were the barangay officials who are the front liners in times of disaster situation.
This study also included the programs and activities conducted by San Jacinto during disasters including the implementation Executive Order which is related to disaster management. Their equipments on standard operating procedure was also included.
