Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study: The study is about the disaster preparedness of the Municipality of San Jacinto on natural disasters like earthquake, flood, typhoon or storm and tsunami. The Municipality is far from the coastal area of San Fabian but there is still the tendency that rivers overflow which may cause flooding to other barangays of San Jacinto. This study surveyed 152 residents of San Jacinto. The respondents were the barangay officials who are the front liners in times of disaster situation. This study also included the programs and activities conducted by San Jacinto during disasters including the implementation Executive Order which is related to disaster management. Their equipments on standard operating procedure was also included.

Furthermore, this research focused on studying the effect of malunggay leaves on mosquito larvae for these organisms are believed to mature into adult mosquitoes that disperse everywhere, and the larvicidal treatment helped reduce adult mosquitoes' population that becomes a pervasive outdoor pests.
