A Study on the common problems encountered by the parolee and pardonee in the 4th District of Pangasinan

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
This study covered only the 6 parolee/pardonees from the 4th District of Pangasinan, namely: Mangaldan, San Jacinto, San Fabian, and Manaoag. Only parolees/pardonees who had been released and are residing in the 4th District of Pangasinan six (6) months and below are considered as the respondents of the study. Their educational qualifications and their skills are considered in this study to determine the cause of their unemployment upon release from prison.

This study only focused on the conducting of checkpoints by the San Jacinto PNP. It included the guidelines and the standard operating procedures in conducting checkpoint. However, this study is limited to the Municipality of San Jacinto because other municipalities maybe conducting other guidelines of the checkpoint which would conflict with the items being asked on the study.

The Disaster preparedness of the Municipality of San Jacinto, Pangasinan

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
The study is about the disaster preparedness of the Municipality of San Jacinto on natural disasters like earthquake, flood, typhoon or storm and tsunami. The Municipality is far from the coastal area of San Fabian but there is still the tendency that rivers overflow which may cause flooding to other barangays of San Jacinto.
This study surveyed 152 residents of San Jacinto. The respondents were the barangay officials who are the front liners in times of disaster situation.
This study also included the programs and activities conducted by San Jacinto during disasters including the implementation Executive Order which is related to disaster management. Their equipments on standard operating procedure was also included.
