Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
The study is about the disaster preparedness of the Municipality of San Jacinto on natural disasters like earthquake, flood, typhoon or storm and tsunami. The Municipality is far from the coastal area of San Fabian but there is still the tendency that rivers overflow which may cause flooding to other barangays of San Jacinto.
This study surveyed 152 residents of San Jacinto. The respondents were the barangay officials who are the front liners in times of disaster situation.
This study also included the programs and activities conducted by San Jacinto during disasters including the implementation Executive Order which is related to disaster management. Their equipments on standard operating procedure was also included.

This study focused only on the effect of the anti-drug symposium conducted by the PNP on the behavior of 4th year high school students of Mangaldan National High School.

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
In order to make this study clear and more understandable, it was focused only on the police patrol procedures of the Mangaldan Police Force. That the questions on the survey-questionnaire about foot patrol are focused only to Barangay Poblacion since it was centered commercial district that the foot patrol is needed.

This study focused its attention on the crime prevention program of San Fabian Police Station using the primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. In the new trend of police crime prevention, the focus is on the cooperation between the community and the police. Thus, this study include the reaction of the respondents on the police street crimes, pick pocketing and bag snatching in front of the market and cellular phone snatching in front of pawnshops in the Municipality of San Fabian.

The study included the common offenses committed by juvenile delinquents, the family background, and age of youth offenders, educational attainment and the causes of offenses. The personnel of the Women's and Child Protection Desk (WCPD) were also included as respondents only on the recorded cases of juvenile delinquents in Mapandan.
