A Study on the common problems encountered by the parolee and pardonee in the 4th District of Pangasinan

Excerpt from Scope and Limitation of the Study:
This study covered only the 6 parolee/pardonees from the 4th District of Pangasinan, namely: Mangaldan, San Jacinto, San Fabian, and Manaoag. Only parolees/pardonees who had been released and are residing in the 4th District of Pangasinan six (6) months and below are considered as the respondents of the study. Their educational qualifications and their skills are considered in this study to determine the cause of their unemployment upon release from prison.

Assessment of Municipal Ordinance No.96-45 in the Municipality of Mangaldan

This study will focused on the implementation of the Municipal Ordinance No. 96-45 (Anti-Smoking) in the Municipality of Mangaldan. Although it is limited on the implementation some other studies were conducted to understand the deeper reasons of continuous smoking in public places and public utility vehicle, the reasons of failure in its implementation. The awareness of the town people and the approached of the smoker on the ordinance are included in relation to the study.

Encountered problems in the conduct of checkpoint at Mangaldan, Pangasinan

There were limitations in this study since only checkpoints in designated places in Mangaldan was focus of it. Policement in Mangaldan Police Station who are conducting various checkpoints were included in this study. Reactioins of the respondents, the perceived problems of both the police and the public were included in this study. An ordinance or law regarding conduct of checkpoint, if available, was included, techniques of conducting checkpoint was included.
However, this study was only confined in the Municipality of Mangaldan. Neighboring towns or municipalities or cities were not included since it is no longer within the area of responsibility of the Philippine National Police (PNP) of Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

In order to make this study simple to understand, it is focus only on the advantages and disadvantages of the constructed pedestrian overpass in the three areas of Dagupan City. It includes the pedestrians' perception on using and disregarding it for their own safety. However, the design, the budget for its construction, the people behind its construction will not be included in this study because it is beyond the comprehension of this research.

College students were excluded by the researcher as based on the subjects curricular activities of Metro Dagupan Colleges such as NSTP101 (National Service Training Program) and NSTP102 where the students are thought and trained in disaster preparedness as well as in different survival situation, After this course, college students will be absorbed by the NSRC (National Service Reserved Corps.) 1, 2, and 3. On this subjects the students will be enhance for more disaster preparedness in various categories i.e. Rescue, First Aid, Evacuation, Crowd control, Fire Fighting, which will be more useful in their daily lives and could be applied when they encounter such as disaster.

Tricycle Parking in the San Fabian Public Market: An Analysis

This study focused on the tricycle parking zone in front of public market in San Fabian, Pangasinan. It included the parking of the general public as well as the tricycle drivers in loading and unloading these wares, riding and waiting at the curb. It also included the prohibition under the municipal traffic ordinance that pertains to the parking zone in front of the public market of San Fabian, Pangasinan.
However, only the parking zone of tricycle drivers in front of the San Fabian public market was the focus of this study. Other traffic problems and scheme were not included in this study. The tricycle operators were not also included in this study since they were covered with it.
